The Matar is a profound exploration of the balance between the Five and the Six (Pentad and Hexad). Sculpted through the artisanal moulage technique, it features a contrasting material architecture: a 100% black wool back panel with raw-edge finishing meets a structured black cotton/acrylic 2x2 rib knit front.
Our silhouettes are a physical manifestation of timeless geometry. The 5ness represents the human microcosm—the organic, intuitive movement of the five senses. The 6ness represents the cosmic macrocosmos—the structural order and spatial balance of the universe. In this design, these two frequencies merge into a single, asymmetrical architecture. It is a dialogue between human life and structural order, handcrafted with intellectual integrity in the Netherlands."
